Two issues want to be resolved. The bridge is split and the top has a crack in it. Consulting our region’s top luthier, he has advised replacing the bridge with a vintage or vintage copy bridge. This can be done beautifully, leaving it in near original condition. He further advised cleating the top crack. He said budget $400-500 for these jobs altogether.
Otherwise, the guitar is in good condition. The body is nicely aged with moderate finish cracking. Tuners all work well. Somebody once upon a time put scotch tape on the body for some reason. Remnants of that remain.
This is a great investment guitar – easily fixed and brought back to life! Compare at $4000 when it’s all done!
